I was a target of bullying in grade school but even more recently as an adult. When people think of bullying they automatically picture children or teens. It's something that I used to feel ashamed of but now I see that I am not alone. Bullying of adults is something that is not talked about enough. I’m excited for the opportunity this year to bring attention to this issue and show we can rise above.
Pink. Not only because it was one of my very first words, but also because pink is the color of universal love of oneself and of others. Pink represents affection, harmony, inner peace, and approachability. It relates to unconditional love & understanding. These are all qualities I find so important to exhibit in my everyday life.
I love to take walks with my husband and son around the city especially along the beautiful lake front of Chicago. We have one of the best city skylines and it looks amazing from the lake front!
