Jennifer McClane
1. I am a veteran of the beautiful and talented Seattle Sea Gals. I dedicated 3 years of my life to the Seattle Seahawks organization, cheering on the sidelines during games and working with numerous charities within the Seattle community. Currently I am a member of the Sea Gal Alumni Association, where we work with the current Sea Gals at various charity events and Seahawk celebrations like winning the Super Bowl!!! GO HAWKS!!!
2. I am a twice published cookbook author. Over the last 4 years I have written and self published 2 cookbooks entitled "Cooking with Jenn". The recipes I created in these books were designed for the busy woman that wants to cook homemade, quick and delicious food for their families. I am currently working on my third cookbook that is dedicated to healthy living and clean eating.!
3. I am a second generation graduate of the University of Washington, obtaining a B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing. I spent two years serving as an editor for the U.W. Literary Journal editing non-fiction essays. I was privileged to become a published author in the same journal with an essay entitled "The Beauty of Masochism”, an piece showing the different sides of pageantry.!
4. I have done the 3-Day walk with Susan G. Komen. 60 miles in 3 days was a not only a physical test, but also a mental one. Spending 72 hours with survivors, their families and friends was the most empowering weekend of my life. I walked for my aunt who I lost to a breast cancer misdiagnosis using my time with these thousands of women to educate regarding the importance of second opinions.!
