Former Mrs. International - Janet Bolin

About Janet Bolin…

A successful career in the automotive industry has lead this energetic and enthusiastic woman to become a strategic marketing leader working with a variety of individuals and corporations from all over the world.  Much of her success is credited to growing up as a competitor in dance competitions and pageants for more than 20 years, learning the basic lessons of working hard to achieve your goals.  Along the way, she also developed a passion for physical fitness and became an AFAA certified instructor teaching step, kickboxing, conditioning and indoor group cycle classes as a “healthy hobby.”

When she’s not jet-setting around the U.S. with her full-time job and her husband, she enjoys volunteering with The NASCAR Foundation and all the charities who benefit including the American Red Cross and Victory Junction Camp.  As Mrs. International® 2011, Janet is committed to taking the opportunity to come out from behind the scenes of her day job to be a spokesperson for The NASCAR Foundation, traveling coast-to-coast to the race markets which host NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Home Tracks race events.   The NASCAR Foundation is committed to helping children lead happier, healthier lives.  For Janet, this is especially important to her as she is "Aunt Janet" for many children in her life who have struggled with life-threatening illnesses and chronic health issues.

Children around the world struggle every day with chronic illnesses, physical limitations or serious life-threatening challenges.  The NASCAR Foundation helps support millions of children, like Hank Grissom, who at age 9, through the generous donations of many, was able to attend Victory Junction, develop confidence and see a whole life ahead of him without barriers.  Victory Junction is a camp in Randleman, North Carolina designed specifically for children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses.

The NASCAR Foundation also helps children through a partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation by granting wishes to children, like John Baransky, age 4.  John's wish was to meet Kyle Busch at a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.  Truly one of the greatest honors for Janet was to meet this little champion and share the excitement of NASCAR with him and his family as his "NASCAR Dreams" tour guide at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Janet currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Chip.  She is the Senior Manager of Marketing for NASCAR’s Licensing and Retail department along with NASCAR Team Properties.  Her husband, Chip, is the Engineering Manager for Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation at Roush Fenway Racing in Concord, North Carolina.  Throughout the year, Chip and Janet Bolin have experienced many life-changing events.  They are truly thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Mrs. International® Pageant system and continue their quest to help children lead happier, healthier lives.
